Jana Tinz

Jana Tinz graduated with a Diploma in Biology from the University of Hohenheim in 2001. From 2002 to 2004, she was an employee of the Forschungszentrum für Ernährung in Prävention und Therapie gGmbH (Research Center for Nutrition in Prevention and Therapy, FEP GmbH) working as the Clinical Study Coordinator with a focus on clinical studies for vitamin C supplements. Ms. Tinz has also obtained professional qualifications in business management from the WiSo Führungskräfteakademie (WFA), media management from the MAITRE project (Media Actions for International Training of Researchers) funded by the European Commission as well as the Akademie für Weiterbildung Hohenheim, communication management from the Akademie Management und Politik (MuP), and the application of graphic tools from medienreich Computertrainings. She has been working for the Institute of Biological Chemistry and Nutrition at the University of Hohenheim since 2004, where she is in charge of project coordination with project responsibility and event management as well as taking on the roles of web editor and the assistant to the managing director. Currently, Ms. Tinz also works at the Food Security Center (FSC) of the University of Hohenheim where she is responsible for public relations.
